Hello all! I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! I just wanted to let everyone know that I plan to show President Barack Obama's address to the students tomorrow. I will be incorporating discussion and reflection around the address. I have also been informed that there is a video contest being held by the Department of Education for students to reflect upon the President's speech. I plan to look further into this contest - and hopefully we can work on some together!
If you do not wish to have your child watch the broadcast, please let me know and he/she can have a silent reading period in the Media Center.
